New modular rail system from Troy Industries is easily installed with out the need to remove your front sight base or flash hider.
The rail system is fully floated for zero deflection due to bipod use or accessories weight. Lower rail is quickly removable with just a bullet tip for cleaning or grenade launcher mounting. All rails are T numbered for ease of changing accessories. All the rails are Mil Spec M1913. Finish is a beautiful Mil Spec Black hard anodizing.
This product is installed using the traditional method of removing the front sight, flash hider and delta ring or by just simply cutting off the Delta ring and spring and the C-clip.
This rail system will not twist or torque due to its unique, but simple mounting system. The rail system engages the barrel nut and the lower clamp engages the sides of the upper receiver with two ears on the clamp. Then tighten the allen screws on the lower clamp and install the lower rail by sliding it into place and engaging the spring loaded detent. Done.
This rail system has it all. Free floating, Milspec T numbered rails full length, ease of intallation without tearing the entire front end off your rifle, beautiful fit and finish and a very friendly price.
