KNS M16 Non-Rotational, Anti-Walk Sear Pin will accomplish two very important tasks for the M16 owner:
1. Eliminate pin hole wear in you $8,000 gun.
2. Secure the auto sear pin in the receiver so it cannot walk out.
Installation takes about 20 seconds, plus one minute to READ the simple instructions.
To install: Check and make sure your M16 is empty. Separate you upper and lower. Align the KNS Sear Pin with the sear pin in your receiver. Push it in about 1/4". Rotate the retaining cup under the head of the take down pin. Push the KNS Sear Pin flush with the receiver.
You are done. Re-install the upper and push in the take down pins..
The KNS M16 Sear pin is retained two ways. Like your original pin with the auto sear spring that engaging the groove and secondly by the take down pin. The retention in the take down pin also keeps the KNS pin from rotating and eliminates all receiver wear by the auto sear and pin. |
